Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 August 2026

These terms cover this website (aldatalabs.com) and Time Tracker Pro, our time-tracking Power-Up for Trello. By installing or using the Power-Up you accept them. How we handle personal data is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.

1. Who you are contracting with

AL Data Labs is a data-engineering and software practice operating under the domain aldatalabs.com, registered as a sole proprietorship in Ukraine, and is the provider of the service described here. Contact for anything in these terms: [email protected].

Where the Power-Up is installed on a board belonging to an organisation, the organisation is our customer and the person installing it confirms they are allowed to act for it.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

Time Tracker Pro records estimates, timers, manual time entries and written results against Trello cards, and reports on them. It is not a payroll system, a system of record for employment or billing disputes, or a substitute for your own bookkeeping. Export your data if you need an independent copy — the product provides CSV export for exactly that.

The product is in beta. Features can change, and occasionally be withdrawn, at shorter notice than a mature product would give. We will not remove the ability to export your own data without telling you first.

3. Trello is a third party

The Power-Up runs inside Trello and depends on it. We are not affiliated with Atlassian, and we have no control over Trello's availability, its API, or changes Atlassian makes to either. If Trello changes something that breaks the Power-Up, we will fix it as quickly as we reasonably can, but the interruption is not something we can be liable for.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to break the law, or to store personal data you have no right to process.
  • Do not attempt to reach another account's data, probe the API for weaknesses, or run load against it beyond ordinary use. If you want to test something, ask us and we will help.
  • Do not resell the service or present it as your own product.
  • Keep any API key we issue you secret. Tell us immediately if one leaks and we will revoke it.

We may suspend access that is actively damaging the service or another customer, and will tell you why.

5. Plans and payment

Paid plans and their prices are shown where you subscribe. A plan applies to a billing account, which may cover several boards. If a subscription lapses, features belonging to that plan stop — your own data (time entries, estimates and the results you wrote) stays, and stays exportable. Some AI-generated fields are deleted 90 days after the plan ends; the Privacy Policy sets out exactly which.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service up and to fix problems promptly, but there is no uptime guarantee and no service-level agreement. Saying otherwise would be a promise a practice this size cannot honestly make. Planned work that requires downtime will be announced in advance where we can foresee it.

7. Your data and our software

You keep every right you already had in the data you put into the service. We do not claim ownership of it, do not sell it, and do not use it to train machine-learning models.

The software, its design and its name remain ours. Nothing here transfers them to you; you get a non-exclusive right to use the service while these terms are in force.

If you send us feedback or feature suggestions, we may act on them freely and without owing you anything for it.

8. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data where you had the means to export it and did not. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on a free plan, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by removing the Power-Up from your boards. Note that removal does not by itself delete your stored data: Trello sends us no signal when it happens, so email [email protected] with the board name and we will delete it. We may end the agreement if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we discontinue the product, in which case we will give reasonable notice and time to export.

10. Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change and revise the date above. For changes that materially affect existing customers we will give notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.

11. Disputes

Talk to us first — [email protected]. Almost everything is resolvable that way, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it. If a dispute cannot be settled, these terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, where AL Data Labs is registered as a business. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
